Most cold email fails in the first line, because the first line could have been sent to anyone. The fix is not more personalisation tokens. It is one specific, checkable observation about the company you are writing to.
Open with their words
A company's homepage tells you how it describes itself. Quoting that description back, briefly and accurately, proves you looked, and it lets the reader check you did not invent it.
Example opener
I was reading how Beta describes itself: "Beta helps finance teams close the books with pipeline data."Connect one thing you do to one thing they do
Then say, in one sentence, how you help with that. No list of features, no invented numbers, no customer names you cannot share. End with one low-pressure question.
Keep the receipts
Every draft Threadly writes lists the pages it used, so you can check each line before anything is sent, and sending only happens from approved campaigns with suppression, unsubscribe and daily caps checked first.
